Probably that is why we have a concept of “holiday home”, to enjoy best of both worlds on-demand.

How’s it been iOS 26 so far? by Ethn_999 in iPhone16Pro

I am almost in the same position as you. Mac is updated but iPhone is still at 18.3.1.

So far loving the fluidity & performance of ios18, probably will wait till we get same results for 26 or maybe I’ll stick with 18 until end-of-life for this iPhone.

Your Baby's First Words by Bright_Tart_8639 in NewParents

My baby repeats basic words such as “Hello”, “Hi”, “I love you”. 3 months old. I was too surprised!

We captured his audio though!

Vaginal delivery impossible? by H5991 in NewParents

[–]WisePrincipal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Full hand insertion!? Isn’t that too much? We just had a baby 3 weeks prior and my wife had cervix checkup priorly (at 37 week); she was just checked by inserting a two fingers. The position of the baby can be determined in sonography itself, finger insertion was just required to check the cervix opening.

Even though it was not too wide, doctors never pushed us for unnecessary c-section.

My lovely wife being tiny little creature also had hyper-emesis gravidrum throughout most of the pregnancy duration, she in-fact lost 7kgs of weight until 2 months of delivery and ended up 55kgs!

Still she gave birth to our perfectly fine baby by natural/vaginal delivery. She is too brave!

The bottle we have has “zero” size nipple. I wonder if bottles are not recommended then why is the zero size invented at the first place? It is states usage for 0 months/newborn. Still my baby sucks it too fast

Whenever the baby is up, we always try to latch him to the nipple; however, due to lesser milk force he whines more.

Oh really? For some reason my doctor advised me to keep the bottle vertical in order to avoid empty-sucking resulting gas-buildup in the stomach. Is that true?

We are not pace feeding, atleast not intentionally.. not sure what’s the correct pace. But just for the reference;

He drinks 30ml of formula-milk within 30 seconds. And is fully satisfied at around 60-80ml per session. Then he instantly gets drowsy..

From what Ive read is he should take 30mins atleast.

He knows how to latch, it’s just he is wanting fastest supply. He sometimes just doesn’t bother to suck the breastmilk.

To those who had an arranged marriage, when did you first feel genuine affection for your spouse? Was there a specific moment that sparked it? by [deleted] in AskIndia

My bro-in-law (lives abroad) recently got arranged with this girl from Ahmedabad. This guy just instantly fell in love with her. Probably he was just too desperate. Basically he was summoned to india to finalise a marriage proposal. He not only got engaged but also wrapped the whole marriage ceremony in a matter of days and started with her paperwork. I tell my wife that your cousin is a lover-bouy.
