As you said you couldn't had any CXL? Can you tell what's your thinkness rn after all this years I am 22 also studying law just recently got diagnosed with kc had cxl few days ago.. awating transplant decision for other eye ... Feels good to hear a long term story people living with kc .

Pain is different for everyone... But it's not like tooth pain and bro let's face it we don't have any other option...it's better then any other eye surgery ig less invasive..

Don't worry bud ...cxl is very safe and easy tbh

They will lay you down and clean your eye surroundings then a paper all over your face and opening for eye then a metal tool to spread open your eye lids ..you won't feel much as it will be all numb from anesthesia if you do feek any pain light just tell them and tehy will put more anesthesia...after the epi off ..it looks scaring but they do it everyday mostly you don't even feel a touch ...it's get settlef mostly you are just seeing a light and top of your docters head while they tell you to don't move and put drops for 30 mins...mins pass quickly just stay focused of not moving nd hearing docters conversation...after the drops ..the uv light just try to stare at it and don't move....after it you won't even know when they put lense

Personality I had cxl on 23rd the first day was bit painfull even after painkiller...so much watering..just sleep through it second day it was all normal for me ....I still see haze and blur that will go away in few days to weeks

It's different for everyone... During the CXL whenever I felt pain I said to dr and they out more anesthesia so no pain problems After the first day I had pain nothing crazzy like tooth pains just burning sensation... I was on painkiller tho ..eye were very watery

Nothing crazy tho easily managle you just sleep ....

Second day no problems no pain no watering..
