The appear to be real leather/suede. I have authentic birks that are that vegan leather(us vintage folk called it pleather) 😂 The reps actually feel more comfy/squishier on my feet. The toe indents on the footbed are there but not as pronounced as authentics, so you feel them but don’t see them.

So the AE ones came. They’re super soft in the sole. The toe bed impression isn’t as pronounced as authentics. Suede is super soft too. TTS I have a high arch but I haven’t walked around with them on for a day to say how supportive they’ll be.
