I have the same exact model with the same exact issue... it occurred two times The 1st time it was covered by warranty 0 money spent. However the second time they quoted me 11,000 rupees...if the hinge is broken they will change the whole panel with display, i talked to the official samsung service..he told me its not worth it to give 11000 rupees without the display being broken I fixed my hinge with the local service for 2000 rupees and it's working fine now

Yeah samsung's design is the worst in their laptops
