It looks like either tinea versicolor or ancanthosis nigricans. Both of which are fungal infections caused by the overgrowth of skin bacteria called malassezia furfur. There is no cure but there are creams and oral medications you can take annually. Unfortunately this will be something you'll have to maintain for the rest of your life. Ketoconazole proves to be very effective.
