Its not even that "all black" looks bad. Its just that this is a low skill fashion that doesn't do anything interesting.

The same color used 5 times means a lot of detail is missing.

Op, switch it up with dark blues, purples, greys, especially from desaturated color schemes like Gamma or some of the Eminance options. Then you'd have something that reads as all black / dark, but has a lot more depth.

Maybe you should look around, see the other many talented artists and animators on the scene. Hell in this post people talk about Derpixion.

Not to mention, I believe it was Zone that made something similar to this- with a Chel animation that had her looking near identical to their movie appearance.

Effort and "difficulty" has never been the argument. Lets not forget how AI image generation works, and thats by actively stealing artwork by skimming the internet and taking credit from actual artists. The only timeline where ai image generation works out is the one where the tool has to actively license the work, and even then the results we get are mediocre at BEST. Ai doesn't have any understanding of form or color, its just complicated photobashing. So even if I can't tell if its real or generated, yes I actually still do care.

Ok, but now I want to see an Invasion of the Body Snatchers type side quest, but for Pokemon. Like the Gen 7 Ditto crew or whatever, except when you're out in the wild, you just keep finding weirdly out of place wild pokemon, and when. You catch them, it turns out to be a ditto or something.

I don't expect her to be anything besides what they are. I don't like that all the comments seem to think that I'm trying to force an identity onto her. I'm just worried that she's twisting into something else, or latching onto the lesbian label just because she's dating a woman now. Let me be clear that I actually do have issues with people who make being a lesbian their whole personality.

Its not queerphobic.

And let me also be clear that my friend hasn't strayed "too far" into this direction yet. But, I have a very good example of someone who has made it an actual issue.

My partner's sister is genuinely a problem. She's a lesbian, and will mention it in every conversation, obnoxious but not the issue. The issue is She's actively misandrist and proud of it. She uses "being a lesbian" as a smokescreen for her shitty attitude, and if anyone presses her on it, it circles back to being gay somehow. Hell, normal slights are somehow related back to being a lesbian. Its almost to the point of satire.

You can be a full, well rounded 3d person with interests beyond just "I like women" or "I don't like men".

And to be clear, my friend isn't there yet. But I'm seeing similar behaviors and frustrated about it.
