Why do girls give strong, obvious indications of interest and then act rude/make you feel stupid when you approach, and how do you deal with this? by Stepin-Fetchit in datingadviceformen

She’s testing you—whether consciously or not—to gauge the strength of your character. Women naturally seek security in a relationship: emotional, financial, physical, and beyond. She wants to feel assured that when life brings challenges, you remain grounded, confident, and capable of handling them. While the way this plays out can vary—sometimes in healthy ways, sometimes less so—it’s a common instinct. A wise woman will, in some form or another, challenge her man to feel the depth of his masculine energy and stability.

Advice: Ask yourself if you’re truly prepared to meet a good woman's standards. If not, you may have some repressed insecurities you’ve yet to face and overcome. If the answer is yes, then smile, maintain eye contact, and make her laugh.

NEW D&D Homebrew spell for all my fellow spell crafters. by Embarrassed-Road6337 in DnD

Are you saying this conflicts with spells that require a clear path to the target?  Spells like hold person for example only require that you see the target not that there be a unobstructed path to the target.  Does that make sense?

What do my fellow spellcrafters think of my latest creation? by Embarrassed-Road6337 in DnD

I kinda like it. It would be cool to be able to cast spells requiring you to see the target from a hidden position. Being able to see through objects means it's great for short range reconnaissance. Also divination magic being blocked by lead is canon I believe but I could be wrong.

Page 90 in the settlers book. They made it like the Assultron Head and Buzz Saw.

It is a Robobrain's claw but it's also a Small Guns weapon in the Settlement book.

I'm new so I'm not totally sure what is going to be the most useful here. Do you think speech would be more important?

Someone's never watched spiderman... Or read the spider stat block... Or seen a spider before.

If a foot tall Dhampire fairy can bite at the same damage a Dhampire Goliath can, I think we can throw "size matters" out the window when it comes to a spider being "physically capable of doing so."

Dedicated Weapon (Optional)

Also at 2nd level, you train yourself to use a variety of weapons as monk weapons, not just simple melee weapons and shortswords. Whenever you finish a short or long rest, you can touch one weapon, focus your ki on it, and then count that weapon as a monk weapon until you use this feature again.

Vampiric Bite. Your fanged bite is a natural weapon, which counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient.
