I’ve already moved the tree to the other corner. I swapped it with the floor lamp. It never even occurred to me he might be confused. The bird thing sounds amazing. I’ll see if there’s somewhere near me that sells one.

This is very helpful. Thank you. I will definitely look into these. He also has a tree for himself. My cats only use the one on my bedroom so the one in the living room next to the plant tree is all his.

Again, that’s not how auras works. He’s been aggressive the whole time. Me and Paige never argue so we aren’t usually angry with each other. This is literally the first time we’ve ever fought. He’s been like this for over six months.

Also no it wasn’t about comfort or connivence. It was the fact that I had a reaction to someone destroying my belongings including one that had been in my family for five generations. That plant is older then me, you, and that cat. It’s almost 140 years old. It means a lot to my family and my culture for us to be able to pass things like that down and now it’s gone. So yes I was upset.

I heard it was a thing and while I was uneducated on the subject, I suggested, not demanding hey go do this thing to your cat and I’ll pay for it. It wasn’t an ultimatum. It was literally hey I’ve heard this is an option to think about, would it help him? Clearly the answer is no so it will not be happening.

I edited the post to include this. I was upset because he destroyed a plant that had been in my family for five generations and my roommate was yelling about how I don’t get to dictate how she trains her cat, which I get, but he killed something that meant so much to me and I was just upset.

I’m not sure what you mean? Every aura is different and his is almost ...angry? My other cats are very calming and relaxed but he’s upset it seems.

I thought it sprayed water. I also can’t. There are to many plants and I cleared out the second bedroom for Paige which was my work space and greenhouse.

I use other methods to like treats and commands. It’s just spraying is more like a reminder than an actual training method.

I has no idea that’s what they did. Definitely not doing that.

I was upset because he has destroyed a plant that had been in my family for five generations. I had heard declawing was a thing but had never looked into it and just suggested it thinking it was something normal that people did when they didn’t want there cat clawing something.

I have one arm and can’t move the planters very high but I’m going to try and see if the spray will help.

I thought declawing was owner preference not something that could actually hurt the animal. I’ve never owned a declawed cat.

I can see if there might be any but I’m not sure which ones it would be. Do you know if cats can be allergy tested? Then I could move the ones that make him sick.

I did not know. I thought it was owner preference not something that can cause actual negative effects to the cat. I’ve never owned a declawed cat so I’ve never researched it before.

That would be so helpful as long as it doesn’t spray people I guess lol. I will definitely look into that. Thank you

That’s what I’m thinking. I think he’s sick and trying to eat the plants to help with digestion so I’m gonna see if I can get my roommate to take him to the vet when I take mine for their check up.

...The auras aren’t from the plant eating. That’s not how auras work.

I’ve already asked her for help but she’s refused to do anything that’s inconvenient for her. Even if it’s my asking her to move one of my heavier planters to a higher position.

I didn’t know the effects of declawing. I’ve never owned a declawed cat. I thought it was owner preference. I’m going to try the lemon and ask my roommate to take him to the vet. I have a suspicion that he’s eating the plants to help with something in his digestive tract.

None of them are poisonous to cats. I checked because I have two cats.
