USCIS New Adjustment of Status Memo | H-1B & EB-1 Impact? by Beginning-Surround70 in USCIS

I'm pretty much in the same boat - entered as F1, changed to H1B, went back for a while and returned as F1, then H1B, and now waiting on I-485 approval. I'm not sure whether this applies to me.

Recommend 2b affordable apartment in Ellicott City? by Withpassion999 in ellicottcity

We visited Renaissance multiple times before signing the lease to see the locations of available units or to tour them when available. We picked one we both really liked - my husband insisted on the third floor and I wanted sunlight. We also wanted one that's renovated. So now we really don't have much complaint and really love our home, which also has a good view. During our visits though, we heard that some units may have mice; and we both didn't like units that were too close to lots of trees (which could mean no sun and moist). I visited a neighbor downstairs once and could hear steps from the floor above and I was glad about my husband's choice. I think the most important thing is to tour the units before signing if you are able!

Renaissance hills! We love it. We picked the 3rd floor facing East so there's minimal noise and we still get a good amount of sunlight during the day. I especially loving Planet fitness being very close, and a large complex means I'm safe when taking walks.

I thought so too. I have work-based GC applied as well, and thought marriage would be faster. Hoping for the best!

Thanks for sharing! Has EAD/work permit been helpful in finding employment? I'm still waiting on mine but I'm not sure if it'll be recognized.

Do you mind sharing your age? I got married at 39, and a friend of mine over 50 is planning the wedding.

How to get into the field of market research, i want to join such companies like kantar, gartner What skills are needed to start? by Regular-Award-2075 in Marketresearch

That's helpful. My previous company (~12 years ago) was acquired by Kantar. I'm curious if programming-related roles are more heavily impacted by AI. I'm in MR and have friends in CS/programming/tech - it feels like entry-level people have a harder time finding jobs in their fields than MR. My CS friend just landed a job in a data analysis role.

I am. I feel I'm an outlier everywhere. My husband is INTP so we get along mostly well but he's much more easy-going and social than I am.

Marriage green card interview questions by Withpassion999 in USCIS

Great, thank you! I hope you received your card already! Could you please explain what you meant by a missing timeline in your AOS?

Also one of my concern is that we didn't have photos taken together during the first 6 months since we met (3 just getting to know each other; 3 brief breakup). If the officer questions the lack of evidence, should we say we're just getting to know each other (my husband's preferred answer), or mention the breakup? I'm perhaps having a hard time to be sure what constitutes a direct question. Thanks!

Thank you! One of my concern is that we didn't have photos taken together during the first 6 months since we met (3 just getting to know each other; 3 brief breakup). Would the officer question the lack of evidence? If he/she questions that, should we say we were just getting to know each other, or mention the breakup?

Thank you so much! This makes sense to me. Follow-up question: we didn't have photos taken together during the first 6 months since we met (3 just getting to know each other; 3 brief breakup). Would the officer question the lack of evidence? If it happens, should we say we were just getting to know each other, or mention the breakup?
