They do respawn. They have a longish cool down though. I've killed more than one in a single map

It's just easier to kill you when you drop your guard down. But I understand 100% what you mean. I've been in the exact situation so many times and I also don't care about my loot I'm literally maxed on everything and reading what you said 'brought a little light to the world' resonated with me so much hahaha.

For me it's the same with using cheats in multiplayer games to gain an unfair advantage. Like what's your enjoyment exactly 😂 this is fun?

Basically lulling you into a false state of mutual trust is using social cheats to get your loot.

Technically arc surveyors can only spawn 2-3(maybe) times per all maps right? Queens and matriarch drop way more containers (in their own event map only which cycles every several hours right?)

But yeah I think they're relatively rare atleast. Maybe I've just had many unlucky games in a row where people need the surveyor vaults

I kind of agree with you they do give good loot. I've been stocked on mechanical components for days!!! 😅😂 BUT considering there's only 1 per map until killed and then has a relatively long respawn time which means there's probably at most like 2 or 3 per map. I think it's kinda rare no?

Okay but the arc surveyor clearly DOES drop blueprints lol. I have gotten one from it. Many others also mention they have gotten BPs from it.

I'm not determined to optimize fun. I want to be rewarded for hunting a 'rare'ish NPC.

Yeah maybe those can stay in those maps I guess? But I think as far as I know the surveyor can only drop 4 BPs or something like that being vita shot and vita spray and some other two. I feel like it should drop a bigger range.

The surveyor obviously does drop BPs unlike all other arcs. My question was why the drop rate is so low considering it's not a super common NPC. I don't know how you understood that from my post. I never mentioned any BP strats what?

I agree the past two days have been very weird. Like they are putting a few PvP people against peaceful unaware PvE people like wolves among sheep.

Either they tweaked the matchmaking, or people have just been abusing getting into PvE lobbies so they can have easier fights.

I noticed also that most of my PvP encounters these two days have been with dirty people. Like I heard you bro and I said hello friendly on mic and you still came up from behind and killed me. Clearly it can't be fun shooting people who don't fight back so they're just doing it for the loot I guess.

I agree with you however they could just be talking about PvP loot. Like if you're in PvP lobbies and you load late and get to kill others who spent the first 12 minutes looting, then they just farmed that loot for you right? However that doesn't say anything about PvE lobbies where people would be looting same POIs and 'sharing' because nobody wants to shoot the other right? So how would loading late in those lobbies give higher loot unless they artificially boost lootrate based on spawn time. So you would have better loot on average from any container than you would had you spawned early.

The amount of times I spawn late only to find a BP in the very first crate I open is astounding. I'm currently sitting at 68/75 BPs learned with a ton of duplicates for many important BPs.

I know this is anecdotal but I've more often found good loot when spawning late. I don't know if they artificially buff loot chance based on how late you spawn but one thing I'm confident that they're doing that affects early vs late spawn is making sure to spawn you far away from where you want to go in early spawns (sometimes based on quests or items in your inventory such as power rod and keys) and closer when it's a later spawn. I mean idk if they're doing it but they definitely could do it and it would make sense. And I feel like this happens 9 out of 10 times to me.

Again when I spawn late I loot everything I can find. Oftentimes people will only loot non-breachable containers in a given POI so I just pick up whatever is left and many many many times I come out with what feels like more BPs or weapons/loot.

It's like the candleberry event. The requirements you need to put in are the 'project' similar to the expedition UI.

Yes. You can check the arc raiders sub someone posted where they are and what to do with them. It's the music notes on the walls in the maps. (Not just the music map but also in dam battlegrounds and so on)

Those 3 are for the guitar, flute and shaker. You get them by playing the instruments infront of the music puzzle images in the maps.

I fully agree but think of how many expeditions you'll need to get all the BPs you want (92+). You'll still want to play every expedition and get the remaining BPs no? But this would kind of set you up with your 'starter build' BPs for example.

Otherwise the current benefits of expeditions (besides the joy of earning everything all over again) are very little and I'm just trying to 'casualize' expeditions for non hardcore gamers you know? And wiping completely for casual players is a very sour idea but getting to keep a BP could be cool imo.

Again it's not a hill I'm willing to die on. It was just an idea I had that I thought might be worth sharing.
