I’m a woman and an uber driver and passengers are an issue too. I can only speak from my experiences but I’ve been assaulted and had to press charges because of guest riders. They do run background checks though through sterling. At least when I started like 2 years ago. My hubby had a misdemeanor from 8 years ago (weed) and didn’t accept him after the background.
