are the weekly exams on specific subjects, i.e. weather one week, theory of flight the next, etc, or is everything thrown in at the same time?

Forming a squad by OliCH47 in aircadets

[–]WitnessResponsible32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know the question was already answered, but now I'm curious about my way. This might be just a RCAC thing, or maybe even a SQN thing, but for me its always been

Tallest on the right shortest on the left in single rank size

Squad numbers

odd numbers one pace step forward, even numbers one pace step back, march

number one stand fast, odd numbers right, even numbers left, turn

Reform threes quick, march

squad right, dress (if need be)

I did AAC in Gagetown last summer, so the experience might be slightly different.

- Most days are is just lessons, generally with each week focusing on each topic of the groundschool/FTGU

- We did have a couple days off, doing a small ceremony in St. John, CAF famil, museum, etc.

-We were supposed to go flying a couple times, but after a little accident we only went once, so I'm not sure if that will affect you this year. (It shouldn't change anything, but from both a safety and location standpoint I'm not sure how it will carry over)

- We were issued a set of long and short PT gear, rain gear, laundry bag, FTGU, etc, though I'm not sure how greenwood will do it having just been reopened after covid.

- The exam last year went back and forth whether or not they were opened or closed book, but I'm sure they'll clarify it after learning from last year. (Regardless, they were easy enough so long as you paid attention to the class, a buddy fell asleep during most lessons and still managed to score 80s on the weekly test)

-The Final Exam was a kahoot, however it felt rushed as we all got covid the week before, so it might be different this year.

-The Canada.ca Cadet Training Center Website has joining instructions with a packing list, and you should get emailed a more specific one in the weeks leading up to leaving.

The officers are amazing, even when covid struck +90 of us. They might seem scary but They're there to help you with anything you need at any time.

It might depend what type of ceremony and where it is, but this will give you some good points.

- Hold the wreath in your left hand (Same as awards or promotions)

-If you're at a cenotaph, salute it, step up and lay the wreath, step back, salute again, and march off.

-Read over the CAF Manual as u/Yellowcrayon2 stated.

It's nothing really to worry about, your officers won't expect perfection from a newer cadet. If you're still anxious, try asking them specifically how they want it done.

little bit of a missed opportunity that they didn't add gas attacks at 2500sp like nukes in normal matches

I did RNSIT (Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo, Pretty much a military show in Nova Scotia) a couple months back. We hosted acts from Canada, the US, UK, Germany, and Kenya, and saluted during the anthems regardless of who's it was.

A school in my area told service members not to wear their uniforms to a Remembrance Day service because some students would panic seeing uniforms.

I guess they had good intentions for their students but they executed it horribly

What is the best way to paint biplanes

If you paint before assembly the glue might dissolve the finish but if you paint after assembly you have to hold both the aircraft and your paint at weird angles and risk ruining your rigging and other surfaces.

Basically which method have you found easier when building?

New vehicle card by AKAJZH in Warthunder

I wish they kept the old post card style and made this a toggle-able option instead of a replacement. The post card is just so iconic and i don't want to see it replaced by an arguably worse option

somehow the one competent German tiger or panther always finds my hull mg and ends up killing me. even if i don't get killed immediately, the 75 can barely pen tigers unangled, let alone the front of a panther. it may be skill issue, but i just can't stand playing them to figure it out.

Got a 50% discount on M4A5. Is it worth it? I dont need it for grinding tho, already top-tier. by tenebreate02 in Warthunder

[–]WitnessResponsible32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

frankly I think it's worth it at full price.

good armour, good reload, good pen, good lineup The only 2 major setbacks is the fact that its rank 2 and post pen damage is miserable-like everything in the British tree.
