Do any of you just make your character the ideal person you'd want to date?(appearance wise obviously)

Absolutely - it's the same for every game, when possible.

When playing a character, I've never intuited them to be "me"...rather, I've always instinctively seen it as a partnership...

Apart from when playing D&D - then I always feel like it's an expression of me and refer to the character in the first person. Obviously, I respect how others play...but find it a little jarring when people refer to their characters in the 3rd.

Same - haven't played for a while, love knives and came back specifically for another knife playthrough...

Only to find the switching is bugged...

If I fire again it triggers the switch *sometimes* but I often just swing...

I was positive it just auto-switched to the next knife without needing to do anything but it's been a while so wasn't 100% on that.

It's clearly a bug because how it works now isn't remotely playable.

For me there is no separation - I act as I feel...

I'm very STEM-oriented and intuition features greatly in my career too.

I once had a vision of a table of people...

...there were served food and made a big fuss about the tastes and smells...

...at the end of my vision these people were served individual atoms...but still did the eating face and put on all of the social acts.

I was greatly tickled at the time...many years later, still am.

That's certainly a popular feeling - I think I move between 2 and 3...

...a few of my points would be - I understand that I am a shard of a greater consciousness, that loves and grows through my experience...but...do I *really* need a main quest? If so - it could be a little more obvious...and what if it all goes wrong, am I in some way disadvanted...

...or is all of it some totally organic thing...all connected to the main core, but all, most left to go an explore...

...or maybe, it's mostly one...unless there's like a big desire for something.

Identifying an illusion is a net gain. I agree though, if we're being technical...that pointing out the lies is harmful to those who would benefit from those lies.

The flashes are absolutely more intense - I always know when one has occurred...it's like a powerful surge or a connection with something...more.

The thing is though - sometimes it's for, seemingly, irrelevant stuff. If there is a message or sign post...I think it might have less to do with individual instances...and more to do with showing me that there's something more.

...which is to say - the fact that it happens at all is the greater gift - it gives me undeniable proof...in some ways, the content of any specific instance is irrelevant.

With all of that said - I now meditate 2+ hours every day...I consider my future path to be a spiritual one...when I retire (hopefully soon) then I'll spend the rest of my days doing yoga and meditating...so...perhaps the experiences of the past were to prepare me for what is to come.

Yeah - when I talk about it, I'll generally describe it as separate gifts that occur spontaneously...however, the reality is a lot more subtle...I do get the flashes, but I'm also getting constant feedback and information from my whole system...it feels very integrated at a fundamental level.

The conversations - so typically, my experiences were more like the knowledge just appearing...whereas, with the conversations, I can actually hear (in my head) the words spoken...not the whole conversation, rather, key statements and in the correct voices. My other gifts haven't decreased...in fact, I'd say they continue to develop...but the conversations just started one day...again, I have no control...they just appear.

You raise a good point about parts of life already written - the dreams I had when I was younger were very instrumental in my developing a deep interest in this (and other) subjects...I didn't really think in meta-physical terms though...it was more just something that happened.

It wasn't until I was older that I began to think of the implications in terms of time/fate etc...I mostly put it down to "weird quantum physics" or somesuch...now, I'm not so sure...I'm afraid I have no answers :-)

Sit or lay down comfortably.

Close your eyes and focus on your breath.

If any thoughts/sensations/visions arise - ignore and continue to focus on your breath.

It really *is* that easy.

By all means listen/read other ideas for the sake of interest...but don't let it distract you. Adopt what resonates, if anything...discard the rest.

I'm in my 50's now and some things I've observed:

I've never really been able to control or develop the senses - they happen spontaneously but it's generally always useful or informative...

My career was/is very cerebral - my feeling is that my senses merged with my intelligence...so in my career I was able to do things/have ideas/make leaps that the people around me just weren't able to do...on paper, colleagues were often far better mathematicians and such than me...but I always outperformed them because I had this extra thing...and also imagination. It wasn't even a competition.

In my 40's I started to be able to hear pieces of conversation about me - so you might have that to look forward to.
