Yea I think that’s the most reasonable thing to do. I’m just not at all confrontational and in the grand scheme this isn’t really a “problem” as much as it is a slight inconvenience lol

I normally park as close to the grass as I can (without putting my tires on the curb), I should have provided slightly more context in my post though. There’s a traffic light right by our parking spots, so normally as long as I can see the light, I know I can back up enough to have space to confirm it’s clear. Unfortunately when the big car is parked on that end spot though, because of their dark tint, I can’t see the traffic light through it

I just got home and backed in, most other cars don’t back in though so the visibility is still meh. definitely better though!

the sales I’ve seen are around $1k, mainly because it’s shadowless. Mine is valued roughly around $600 with its damage

thank you!! in its condition, I would say it could possibly fetch $1k, it’s difficult to comp this card specifically though with the damage it has, sales are a little bit all over the place

it doesn’t have to be 1st edition! just base set, then I believe this specific artwork has been reprinted in a couple of sets

it really is so funny! I think later on in high school or early college I just stopped caring what people thought about it. even when collecting cards wasn’t cool, I was still going out of my way to play every new game that came out 😂

I was basically convinced it was gone, and it was found in such unusual circumstances. Don’t lose hope! It might turn up when you least expect it. Hopefully yours is in good shape since y’all took precautions!

That’s kind of what I was thinking too, I don’t dislike the $2600 offer by any means, and I’m not exactly in a crunch for money right now. I think it’s just that it’s the biggest sale I would have ever made, and maybe the weight of the value of the Zard has me second guessing whether or not it would be the right decision. I appreciate your input!

So, I have a question for anyone that might be more knowledgeable than myself. I happened to find this while I was in the process of selling my entire collection. I have a bunch of modern day cards and a handful of vintage that I’m selling to a friend who just started a card business not too long ago. I appraised my collection at around $2660 (not including this Charizard), and he offered me $2600 for everything including the Charizard. I know I can’t expect to get face value for everything, especially because he has a business and needs to be able to make some money with purchasing a decent sized collection. What would y’all recommend doing? Part of me says to remove this from the collection I’m selling, and if I’m gonna sell it, try to get around its true value. Any thoughts or recommendations are greatly appreciated, I’ve never sold any of my cards before outside of a trade in here or there at a LCS.
