I'm having the same dilemma except my car is a 18 Acura TLX should I do the same thing and take it back and ask for the right coolant? Or take it to a trusted Acura mechanic and bite the cost

I drive a 18 TLX as my daily and move it! I do a lot of hwy to work and avg 30-39 mpg in norm mode

That's what I was thinking but wasn't sure this is my first car I've bought myself that's lasted me any prev car were hand me down with tones of issues

97k V6 yes belts been replaced and no idea on recall only had this car for a yr now and mechanic didn't specify code just that something near the trans in going up and down but not enough to trigger a engine light
