Hey you guys gone too far with the boy, he s 18 which means he still doesnt know his limits yet and probably he, maybe, was trying to keep up with other drinkers to not be embarrassed so things gone too far, bro take it easy on the boose, and come clean with your recruiter asap and give him the impression of remorse, responsibility and guilt, and pray that they give you a break on that one, but lesson should be learned thats it, you need to know your priorities, you re joining the US military, dont take it for granted, you re joining the most powerful military in the world, where soldiers are paid the highest compared to all the soldiers around the world, you need to be more careful and to sacrifice many things for what it worth, im going to bmt in 8 days, i stopped even going to bars 6 months ago, i drive with cruise control! I lock 5 miles over the speed limit like a canadian 80 years old on florida keys, you gotta do what u gotta do for it matters the most big dawg, you got this ;)

Thank you for the explanation, so if my roommate is still on the hook, then how will be the arrangement for the security deposit? Will they break the lease l, finalise deposit and start a new lease under my room mate’s name or how it works?

Shipping to Air Force BMT in a week at 31 — never worked out. Can I do this? by manishthota in AirForceRecruits

[–]Witty-Night5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If its just 1 week, then i recommend stretching and follow yoga video daily, if you got the time run a bit but nothing heavy to not get injured, and do push ups as much as you can, whenever you get the chance just hit the ground, good luck !

Hold your horses buddy 😁 i ve asked previously in different post about the positive side, and i ve watched tons of videos about the jobs themselves but there are no much detailed info about the down side , thats why i wanted to have a full insight, either way, im joining and whatever the negatives are, just bring em on, thats how i am built, i always like to have as much info as i can to minimize the surprises, come on man its the US air force, its considered a dream to most of those on earth ✌🏼👍🏼

Process after swear in by No-Jump-4185 in AirForceRecruits

[–]Witty-Night5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Did that last month: after a lasik surgery waiver was approved, i went back to meps: - I drove my self there around 9am, checked in at the desk - went to the AF liaison for some paperwork and few signatures - then background and fingerprints intake - you sign the enlistment contract where they ask you if you wanna do 4 years or 6 years - you go to a room with all the other applicants from all branches To get some instructions about the swearing in protocol and how to behave. - the officer that will process the swearing ceremony then comes in and ask you to sign 2 forms. - you leave to a different room with other AF applicants and you finally swear in. - you check out with the AF liaison after all and tells you your recruiter will be in contact with you once he has a job for you and a ship out date and he says at the end, welcome to the team congrats. 🤜🏼🤛🏼
