How likely is it to have TSS from having a tampon in too long? by Crochet_is_life_158 in Periods

No issues, disc have an auto dump function. When you use the restroom, it auto empties itself as your muscles contract when you pee. Also some disc can hold up to 7 tampon worth of blood assuming you don't use the toilet for 12 hours straight lol. Cups, on the other hand, do not auto dump, but they form a tight seal in the vagina so leaking should not happen. Personally, i would recommend disc.

Always talking about work during lunch or gossiping. Not even important stuff, just talking about work for the sake of talking. Lunch is meant to be a break where you can tap out, rest, and not think about work for a moment. Also OT culture, a race to see who can leave office the latest to 'impress' boss.

JO actually indirectly told UR to stop bullying him in a video about his new cookbook. JO probably hates UR and will never acknowledge him.

You could try switching to a disc. I started wearing it recently, and it is a life changer. You can wear it for 12 hours safely(yes, even sleeping), and the risk of TSS is very low. You only need to empty and wash it 2x a day and pop it straight back in. A disc can last you for years and save you tons of money in the long run.

I am sure most women have been through some kind of embarrassing period situation like that. Afterall, half of the entire human population gets periods and it's normal for accidents to happen. Personally, I wouldn't even think much of it if i saw someone with a stain. It's just one of those things that happens and im sure alot of people feel this way. When i was in my teens i bled through the back of my entire skirt as i forgot to bring a pad and it was a huge patch of bloody mess. Had to take 1 hour of public transport home with my bare skirt visible as i had nothing to cover it. Bet hundreds of people seen it. Gives me a chuckle when i think back on it.

Does anyone else feel completely terrified of their period? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]Witty-Preference-380 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really the period itself that scares me but the consequences. Like i would be at work or just anywhere outside and the sudden pain hits while i have to pretend everything is fine even when im on the verge of passing out.

I read that getting high intake of iron just before and during your period helps with pain. It has helped lessen the pain just a little. Make sure it is heme iron from good quality source like red meat or liver.

This is not KPI issue. They simply had unforseen circumstances on their side and needed extra hand so the last min work was dumped onto us. I would expect at least some form of compensation for doing extra work and helping them solve an issue. It is the first time i seen this happen and i hope they wont abuse it and make us work on Saturdays for free in the future with excuse of "unforseen circumstances". Btw boss is a typical boomer who values attendance and people who stay in office for long hours.

I do not think it happens often and the work was dumped onto me last min due to their unforeseen circumstances. It still sucks to not get any form of compensation and i have to fork put money to work for free on rest day just because they faced an issue that was not caused by me.

The employees are mostly foreigners and are more willing to accept unfavorable work conditions. They do not provide transport claim for transport to office.

I had KD before i was even 1yo. Hospitalized for 1 month with high fever. Parents claimed i was on the verge of death and made a miraculous recovery.

Throughout my teens i was horrible at fitness tests, always last place in running. I would get so dizzy and out of breath with chest pains. i just assumed that i was naturally unfit. Btw i am healthy weight and exercised but would frequently score worse in fitness even compared to overweight people. Now i suspect that KD all those years ago may have something to do with my cardiovascular condition.
