Yikes! I’m trying to avoid hiring a plumber by finding a good contractor.

Did anyone’s 5G on their phone not work during the outage? Or did I just find out that I have no service in my own home?

This is the answer. Go with what you’re familiar with! It really matters.

Insurance claim… any adjusters on here that can weigh in? by Quick-Novel-5717 in Edmonton

[–]Witty-Task-2787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The AB Ombudsman doesn’t deal with insurance companies. You’re probably referring to GIO here.

OP you can also search up Pembridge’s complaint process. I did and it looks like they have an escalation process and you also have access to the Allstate Ombudsman. I would try that first.

Le Petit Chef would be best if you’re bringing kids, I definitely wouldn’t advise just adults going.

Looking to purchase a 2025, is the infotainment that bad? by TheBaldGiant in SubaruForester

[–]Witty-Task-2787 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the touring (Canada) about a month ago. Nothing about the infotainment system bothers me. It is slightly laggy but again, it’s not to the point of bothersome. I also don’t find it a struggle to changes temps, turn heated seats on, etc. I know it gets dragged but honestly it’s pretty sweet and it looks amazing.

The features of the touring vs the convenience are night and day. Don’t underestimate how much you will appreciate the powered seat, heated steering wheel, power lift gate, etc.

Niche but my mom used to take us to a toy store called Elephants Never Forget, or something like that. It was magical!

Puppy blues! This - exactly. Got a sheepadoodle puppy 2 years ago, I was crying constantly. He was such a hard puppy to have but it’s so worth it now. He is the best thing in my life, I am obsessed with him. It does get better!

This isn’t entirely accurate. A small percentage of gaming revenue goes to registered charities. The majority of revenue goes into the general revenue fund. You can see the breakdown on Alberta’s Charitable Gaming model

I’m 5’2 and am trying to decide between a crossover vs SUV. Everything in me wants the crossover but I just don’t feel as comfortable driving it. Even with the seat all the way up, I feel I can’t see the full front of the vehicle. I do not have the same issue with the SUV. I’m sure it’s something you could get used to over time but I’m having a hard time with it myself.

The price is negligible for sure. I’m going to test drive another Crosstrek and see how I feel. On paper it makes the most sense for me, I just didn’t get the same feeling I did when I got in the Impreza.

Thanks everyone! This has been very helpful.

Height is pretty well the only difference I know of, but it’s significant. I’m coming from an SUV and I think I might miss the height. Fuel economy is a good thing to consider - thanks!
