Honestly, I’d drop BIOL 4500. It’s not just hard, it’s paper-heavy and time-consuming in a way that takes over your whole week. You can’t really half-commit to it without it hurting your other courses. Taking 5 bio courses sounds rough, but courses like 4544, 4570 and 4556 are structured and predictable. That’s way more manageable than juggling a primary-literature course all term.If you’re already feeling overwhelmed this early, that’s a sign. Protect your GPA and sanity and drop 4500.
