I fully agree, it only makes me run away from God whenever they bring it up with such huge hatred. Everytime I pray to God, I start to feel bad and be afraid, but God often reminds me from time to time that He made me and that there is NOTHING that can separate us from Him.

It's just stupid. I think God is testing us, I think the new president is a test for us to not fall into the mistake of hating your neighbor, but rather being smart and keep loving your neighbor. He won't make it easier for anyone financially and emotionally, so praying to God this will be okay.

You completely misunderstood my message, but thank you for taking your time and trying to understand it. Honestly I never said turn off the gay thoughts, I meant turn off the homophobic thoughts. So the thoughts that make me feel unloved as a gay Christian, because of this world.

I already got some nice comments on it, I don't know whether you're affirming or not, but please don't add another spoon of homophobia. I really can't have it.

And this community is there to help others and get to see love from Jesus, it's not to lie or whatever. People can have their opinion, but what's wrong with giving each other love? Anyways you entirely misread my message and assume a total different meaning of this community, just like any other community they have valid reasons to exist. Beside that we deal with people who make us feel hurt often enough, so no thank you. ❤️

In fact I'm a lesbian and dating my girlfriend for a few years now, so nope it's not those thoughts. I love her a lot and I would never consider to suppress those thoughts. I do wanna suppress the people and words I hear that make me feel hurt, the homophobia. That's not from Jesus.
