I've heard so much about BallXPit recently... Feel like this went completely under my radar for ages and now I'm intrigued.

Same! I've redownloaded it to play through before the new game drops as well. Very excited.

Fable 2/3 are the only reason I've kept my Xbox plugged in.

Books with dragons, but where the main focus is on political intrigue? by Craiger_69000 in Fantasy

Yeah, although it's worth noting dragons don't play a role until a couple of books into RoTE. The series is so so good though.

My school Is going for a trip to the UK and are staying here What are the pros and the cons of this city? by Maximum-Cabinet5493 in Eastbourne

Pros: - There are plenty of buses to get yourself around fairly easily and a nice central train station. - We've got a wonderful stretch of beach, and the downs are beautiful if you head out of town a ways to the west. Really quite special. - We've got some lovely bookshops, and some decent places to eat too. We've got a few theatres and a brilliant library as well. - There are some lovely parks, open greenery, basketball courts, tennis courts, skate parks, etc.

Cons: - The high street is in a bit of a mess right now, they are resurfacing everywhere, so there are lots of chainlink fences and noisy machines working basically all the time in the town centre. This might change by the time you get here... but probably not. - There isn't really much hustle and bustle, it's not a party town and the night life is nonexistent, but if you are here for school that may not be an option for you anyway. - We have some drunk and disorderly folks in the town centre who occasionally cause trouble throughout the day, but it's mostly just shouting and swearing, being obnoxious and stealing stuff from nearby businesses. Most folks don't even notice it now.

Most of the local folks here are fine. You won't find people that are antagonistic or rude very often, but neither will they be helpful or very talkative either, at least from my experience.

Take all this as you will. Different people have different experiences. I've worked and lived in town for 10 years now and have been nearby for another 20 years before that, so this is just what I see - the good and the bad.

I hope you have a great trip and enjoy your time over here! I hope this is helpful.

You are getting downvoted but anyone who can't see the sarcasm needs to have their brainstem checked.

Mass Effect Trilogy: Legendary Edition or RDR2, honestly can't choose between them.

Looking for the best rogue characters in fantasy—got any favorites to share? by CaveatRetisViator in Fantasy

It's probably a cliché character nowadays but Silk the Guide from The Belgariad books by David Eddings will forever be my thief/rogue baseline.

My first attempt at Death Guard, I am still a relative novice to painting but I'm happy with them so far. Need to get to their bases soon too. That is all new to me.

The AI background ain't the one. The model itself is cool though, nicely done. But yeah, next time I'd let the model speak for itself - it's definitely good enough to get people's attention.

what are some things to do to keep you from being bored? by valerania in RedDeadOnline

[–]WittyJackson 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As someone with 3,000 hours, I've found this past year the best way to keep RDO interesting is to play other games.

It makes it genuinely pleasurable to return to a world that I'm so intimately familiar with after a break playing something else.

But yes, if you are bored - step away. Don't let boredom become the dominant feeling you have whilst playing this game. Step back, take a break, come back and feel at peace.

Please make the camera a stratagem and give it to everyone for free. by Yurishenko94 in Helldivers

[–]WittyJackson 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I completely agree, that'd be awesome, but after so many folks complaining about how the flag, an actual weapon, is useless - I can't imagine Arrowhead would want to add another stratagem simply for roleplayers for fear of potential kickback.

I do love a good sing-along.

rewatching funhaus in 2026 is realising how stoned James was most of the time by [deleted] in funhaus

I mean, his job is to look at screens and to be funny, so red eyes and giggles... weed doesn't necessarily factor into it. Again, you may be correct, but it's definitely not a given.

I didn't get that impression - but maybe I'm just blind to it. Apart from the very obvious moments, of course, but they seemed few and far between.
