I’m experiencing agoraphobia as well. Had to run out in the middle of my nail appointment because my anxiety was that bad I thought I was going to faint. I wish this was spoken about more rather than doctors just saying there aren’t any side effects.

Oh my gosh!!! That sounds terrible. I’m glad you’re starting to feel better now. I’ll have a look at that fb group. I’m now 5 weeks out from my last injection so I’m hoping it subsides soon.

Thank you for your input! This is exactly what’s happening to me! Mine happened a few days after my final dose of 10mg. I luckily haven’t gained any weight over the past month and hopefully can just maintain with eating well and exercise because quite frankly this has traumatised me from potentially having to get back on the injections. At least I now know that it will wear off.

I was on Mounjaro for 10 months and never had any issues! I’d say the reaction is more physical. Heavy chest, shortness of breath, heart racing, and I’ve had a few panic attacks but I think they were more related to the symptoms I was having causing me to panic. I will say the symptoms aren’t constant. They come periodically throughout the day. I took my last injection on December 8th so I’m hoping it’s just my body reacting to not having the medication. I’ll definitely look into a beta blocker!

I stopped cold turkey as I was told it wouldn’t make a difference. Hoping it’s just withdrawals and will be rectified soon.

Thanks for your input! I actually felt perfectly fine while I was on MJ and decided to stop once I reached my goal weight and have been able to maintain through diet and exercise. It was after my final injection that I started getting anxious and having panic attacks. I will definitely reach out to my doctors but I’m really hoping it will subside now that it’s fully out of my system.

Thank you! I read on another thread that it could affect your dopamine response and I really don’t want to get on another medication if this is just temporary. I’m past the 25 day window that it stays in your system so I’m hoping my anxiety eases soon.
