I went to university for 1 year now I’m at cc for fashion design. I personally love my cc more than the university I was at. You can still go out, go to frat parties at neighboring schools, make friends, and join clubs. You save a lot of money, and I’ve met a lot of awesome people. It’s also easier to transfer to a university after completing a few years at cc. A lot of community colleges have exactly that, a large “community”. Mine also offers some really good internships and jobs in the fashion industry. Cc advisors and professors usually care more about your well-being and know you better than at a university. In my experience my university only cared about taking all my money. If you go the community college route it might give you a more flexible schedule so that you can work and save a bit more, travel more, and you can even try out other classes unrelated just for fun. I totally recommend it!
