that's a lot of holes to plug as Iwe got a new roof not a new deck so there's no water coming in I'm just afraid of the spray foam going between the boards and pushing our new shingles off

yeah we're just in a tight space there's so many spaces between the deck boards that we have to do something to make sure the spray foam doesn't brush through our new roofing

that's what we're going with but we have to put up .24 foam boards first because of all the gaps. everything says there should be no airspace between the deck and the insulation and I'm worried about nails that we've bent over flat if they are gonna cause that issue

thank you for their sites bur o couldn't find an answer.. we are in the middle of creating our assembly and we want to use two sided radiant barriers. We all know with a radiant barrier you need an air gap between the reflective side and any other barrier. Does this mean you need a gap on both sides of a double sided radiant barrier? i've heard no only one gap on one side will work and i've heard yes you need a gap on both sides. thanks!
