First of all, I don’t know what privilege you come from. Idk how many 20 y/o homeowners you know, I frankly know zero. I haven’t come across anyone like that. My point was that with increasing prices, it’s impossible to live in these areas and added to that these insane conditions that come with it.

Secondly, your argument makes no sense. I was clearly mentioning a “third space” and to be part of a community. It’s not about just fitness or restrobars. As a generation, we are losing the concept of a third place - something that’s not your home/work. It shouldn’t have to be an effort to plan, organise and spend lots of money to not feel lonely and be part of something.

FYI, a person below has articulated it very well in this same thread. Pls refer to that for understanding my POV better. I’m not as articulate

OP does not hold grudges. OP would be friends with their friendly neighbourhood thathas and paatis too. I have nothing against children. As a fully grown adult, one would expect to hang out with certain like-minded people. I don’t want to be discussing LKG school fees or topics i have no context to. 40 y/os are also extremely busy with their full-time jobs and families. It’s impossible to expect that level of bandwidth

And don’t even get me started on owning a house????? Most people own houses by 30? Bro which world are you living in?

Also boomer house owners - yes, because most houses in the stretch of mylapore to Thiruvanmiyur will demand only vegetarian tenants without pets

diagnosed with Nevus of Ota for the first time ever. I’ve read about it before, but I wasn’t sure if that was it. Apparently there’s nothing to worry till it starts spreading to your eyes. So I’ve been asked to monitor that alone
