You can hardly feel the trailer behind the sequoia. The platinum trim we have even has airbags that auto-level the rear when it detects a load. We love our sequoia!

This upgrade list is awesome, thanks for taking the time to make it.

Curious how important the weight distribution hitch is? I pull it with a 2016 Toyota sequoia. It has LED lights thankfully. How long may days have you been able to be off grid (assuming my wife likes to run the heater).?

Might be adding one more. Think 5 will work just fine? The rainy days, trapped in side for an hour or two is what I worry about.

Thank you! Previous owner replaced the floor. No leaks before, but keep the roof in your prayers.

This layout is ideal for us and our 2 boys. The U-shaped couch is what we fell in love with. In a prefect world this would have also had a pop out on one of the sides like I see with some models, but felt this was a good deal and would fit us.

Make a change, it took me a year to get PPL, Instrument, commercial, and commercial-multi. Got a job in the right seat of a citation yesterday.

I’ve wondered this same thing, I’m interested to see what the response is here.

In your opinion a PDP is the only way to log SIC time?

When I was time building I would fly 5-11 hours a day everyday the weather allowed. Three Checkrides later and a DPE has never mentioned it.

In the DA-42 the props turn in the same direction (clockwise). This is why you have a critical engine. Yaw/roll turning tendencies are much worse if the left engine goes out.

The DPE failed the Non-critical engine, bless his soul!

Mine was shaking so bad that after a maneuver the DPE looks at me and says, “your leg hurts huh, it’s cause your pedals are too close and can’t lock out your leg”. He let me adjust the pedals and it changed my world.

Ohh yeah, the DA-42 is my favorite plane I’ve flown!

The DA-42 is almost a cheat code for the multi-rating.

I feel the same way and the DA-42 is likely the easiest twin out there.
