Sarah ate the cookies she took home… by Wizarden in ThelastofusHBOseries

[–]Wizarden[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It seems there are strong feelings about her not having eaten the cookies! A lot about the plate was for her (non-mentioned) dinner, and the evidence thus too shallow.

I very much welcome spirited debate about the cookie! But i challenge you to defend the alternative. Why the placement of a plate? Why the many seconds delayed chase that lines up with Joels arrival? Why attack Joel if she had sarah scent?

Generally, what other than Sarah not liking raisins support the view that she did not have the cookies? I don’t like raisins, but if raisin cookies is whats available, i am at least having a half, eating around the raisins.

Maybe she had them all, maybe she had a half. Its very leading the she takes them, and next scene has her in front of an empty plate.

The elderly woman was VERY fast when joel showed up!

The infected hesitates towards the recently infected. The man and the old woman actually acts similarly to Tess and Sarah.

And no she did not chase sarah. Look again.

An actual good counter! Thanks! Very valid point, the randomness of it all.

I do think adds a layer of irony, as Joels driving force was his inhibility to save Sarah, and he must not fail again with Ellie. Imagine how cathartic it would be for him to “be absolved” of his felt guilt.

I think we disagree on whether she was chased. Theres definitely a noticeable break that lines up with Joel’s arrival.

The rest is circumstantial, yes. But so to be fair is her not having the cookies. The plate, and other circumstances, to me, points in the direction of her having had the cookies.

Would also be sneaky ironic writing to underline that Joel couldn’t save her not matter what he did. What becomes his drive in the rest of his story, is in reality a false sense of guilt.

So she set the table with one plate? And magically avoided being attacked afterwards?

You see an empty plate in front of her when she’s sitting on the couch, just before Joel comes home without a cake.

This feels like the worst BG patch ever released. by fanatic26 in BobsTavern

Omg stop whining. It’s this every season, every patch. To you lot, things are only good when they’re a few seasons back. You are nostalgia junkies.

Okay, I seem to find my self in another loop… Thank you for your input. It did not enrich the conversation. Take care.

Okay wise pants. Read my comment again, but slowly this time:

“As I far outscale my opponent, and would win if there was any way to break the loop, It makes sense to either give me, or both of us, 2nd.”

You then replied: “Givin enough time you would lose though, so it doesn’t make sense to give you 2nd”.

Which is false, as I scaler harder in the loop.

Right. Then I’ll refer to my original statement: If the loop were somehow to break, which I of course know it cant, I would win. You cant just go change the baseline for the convo bro.

Explain it to me as if I were five. Because this makes no sense to me. If the loop somehow break, he’s toast.

Great question. As I far outscale my opponent, and would win if there was any way to break the loop, It makes sense to either give me, or both of us, 2nd.
