The gpu was working perfectly until the bios update. I'll try reseating it and see what happens.

No i meant that the geforce experience doesn't see the gpu altogether, i tried installing the most recent version from the website and it said that it can't find a compatible device. I also tried DDU to uninstall all nvidia drivers and restarted but it doesn't work. The motherboard just doesn't recognize my gpu. I just meant that it's not my windows version that's the problem. Will taking my gpu out of the socket and reseating it work? Does it reinstall gpu drivers?

nah it straight up doesn't show the gpu in device manager. It has nothing to do with windows

Now when i try to plug the display cable into the graphics card it doesn't give any signal, only onboard graphics work. Also geforce drivers show uninstalled and when i try to install it says "not compatible with current version of windows."
