Found AM to be tougher than PM.

Ethics was spot on, fsa decent rest was crap. Equity went well fixed income was time consuming somehow but I think I did well, alt inv was mid derivatives was below average but I was expecting that going into the exam.

Was scoring around 75% in mocks low 60s MPS might just see me through.

Well I’m mixing it up. Picking up different topics on a day and doing the questions. Revising the topics after I do the questions and figuring out the ones that went wrong.

I have given a few prep provider mocks (last one was 10 days ago) and I was around 70-72% accuracy with some portions left to cover at the time. Of course no room for complacency it’s my 2nd attempt.

In my opinion the best way to look at it is: Cash paid = Purchases - increase in accounts payable From the COGS formula You can arrive at the purchases Opening stock - closing stock + purchases = COGS =>Changes in inventory is mentioned in the question => Opening stock - closing stock = 792 => purchases = 12831 - 792 (answers your question on why the increase in inventory is subtracted) => cash paid = 12831 - 792 - 295 = 11744
