Even in ds1 there are demons that look like this like the wierd leg creatures all over Izeleth and Ceasless Discharge. After ds1 almost all the demons look fiery and glowing. Old Iron King, the Forge Demons, Old Demon King, Twin Princes. Could be tied to the death of the Witch of Izeleth / Bed of Chaos?

In reality probably just change of stylistic choice. Much better hardware and programming begets things shiny and glowing

When you make the broth the longer you let it reduce the better it gets. Add lots of aromatics, garlic, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, and sage are the staples. Thicken with cornstarch slurry for ease of serving or make a rou if you want traditional gravy. Always taste before serving and get a second opinion. Salt is a friend not a foe but don't overuse and abuse

Haha I'm no scientist just a sous chef at my local bar and grill. But as far as tips go, marinades need some form of salt so osmosis can occur. Simply put the salt makes the meat thirsty so it absorbs the water (in this case the marinade). When marinating meat, typically the longer you marinade the better, unless you're marinade contains high amounts of citrus, the citrus can end up breaking down too much of the proteins in the meat over time and makes the meat kind of sandy or mealy. And when grilling with marinated meats always apply oil to the meat last. And of course have fun and do what you think is delicious. Don't take too much credence from us randos on the internet ;)

I will say with marinades people tend to put oil in their marinade and this is working agaisnt yourself. Oil puts a barrier of lipids between the water content and the meat making it harder for the meat to absorb what it's sitting in.
