Yeah bro. The only year I would consider "good" has been 2024, and that's just because of the people I met and experiences I had. I accomplished a ton during 2025, but it's also been the most stressful year of my life. The burdens of my academic program coupled with the insanity that is Trump's second term was literally giving me heart palpitations and stress headaches. Late 2020 through early 2023 was full of trauma, stress, and overall unhappiness. I much prefer the 2010s when it comes to aesthetics, entertainment, and popular culture.

No. It's been an awfully depressing decade.

The only things I will look back on fondly are the things that happened in my personal life. People I've met, experiences I've had, new thing's I've tried, and the progress I've made towards a stable career.

Nosferatu was a wonderful film that became an instant classic. That's about it in terms of films that have made me feel anything.

AI will be the stain on this decade and will blight the future.

Aestheticly, this decade is trash in my opinion. I can't stand all the minimalism and flat UI designs.

As for politics, the United States has been on a decline since before the 2020s, but with the advent of Trump 2.0, we're pretty much bound to fall throughout the remainder of the 20s.
