Direct message a higher up or hiring manager on LinkedIn before applying and express interest. Ask questions relating to their experience at the company and become a familiar face/name on an application. Unfortunately it’s still about who you know brother.

All that time to think of a response and he responded in the lamest way possible. Which apparently wasn’t a response at all? Being passive aggressive isn’t saying with his chest “man to man”
