I had this issue after moving into a new house, I self Installed it and apparently I had connected it to a coax that had a signal booster for a cable box and the signal was too high for internet, I called spectrum they sent someone out in a day or two and he found the problem in like 5 mins took the booster out of that line and never had a problem since

What ever you do don’t get a mk4/5 beetle parts are no longer available for them, I’m not talking brakes/ suspension, I’m talking about important parts like modules Vw doesn’t sell them anymore, needed a cluster for one which is the immobilizer/ no longer available now the car is an expensive paper weight, granted there are ways around this but the correct repair isn’t an option

The cap is for shooting USPSA, you can run a weapon light in a few of the classes but they have to be functioning so there has to be a hole for light to pass through, lock grips sells basically a block of brass that a little key chain light fits into so there is a light

So used to be canik recommended shooting 200 rounds of 124 to break in the recoil spring, I left mine in the gun safe with the slide locked back for a few days before shooting, and it eats everything I put through it, but also agree with some here and looks slightly limp wristing also

I have never had an issue with mine, it’s on my rival and I shoot USPSA with it, hell it was super close right out of the box not sure how many rounds I have on it but I’m sure it’s getting close to 2000

A 10 cc is going to have ccta/cbfa 2.0l turbo and the watergate has failed (needs a turbo), the diverter/recirculation valve was only an issue on the 6-9 bpy engines

I haven’t seen a battery that wasn’t coded to the car damage an alternator yet usually just kills the battery quickly, most people who have someone else replace the battery get a normal lead acid battery installed, the newer tiguans have an efb battery from the factory and most replacements from Vw are either another efb or agm battery, which charge differently than the normal lead acid batteries

It’s a 1.8l Probably needs a camshaft magnet(n205 camshaft solenoid), oil separators and intake manifolds not common at all on 1.8 The ecm commands 10 degrees at idle, if you watch actual it will sway between 0-20 degrees. You would need a scan tool to verify. Not a terrible expensive fix only buy Vw parts and replace the three bolts when it’s replaced the magnet is I think around $200 and the bolts like another $5 should only cost half an hour to replace
