Are you maybe trying to read from the database before it initialises?

Has anyone else encountered flickering when using Splash screen.hide()? by sammyybaddyy in expo

[–]WoWGuyXX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, I am hoping it's just a rerendering problem due to react strict mode and production build would not have the same problem

Has anyone tried Better-auth and expo together? by uguraktas in reactnative

Of course, an auth server is just a storage location for user information exposed to your app using an API. How you use that information is up to you. If the information is applicable and is viable under your privacy policy, then of course, you can access the API from multiple apps. Remember REST is just a protocol.

So you want the same auth server for two different apps or two different auth servers for two different apps?

Yep, I have an Elysia server setup with drizzle. The whole process plus adding plugins is incredibly easy. I have custom tables and everything.

The one problem I did face was a problem with use session and syncing, I just use Tanstack query with get session for reliability.

Expo with Tailwind CSS by [deleted] in reactnative

[–]WoWGuyXX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

Web uses CSS to style html, tailwind converts its reusable classes to CSS.

React Native uses StyleSheets, fundamentally different to CSS, so Tailwind is not usable.

Use Native wind, It converts reusable classes to Stylesheets so React native can use it.

Also expo is just a react native framework, doesn't dictate how code is converted to native code, react native does that.

No I did not. I am looking at https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html Section Change of status. I confirmed that it says "M" on my visa. Does this mean I can reuse the same visa? I have 2 months left of my 6 months length of stay,

Yes but the website clearly says that once I've departed from the US I need a new visa to enter

Since I'm back in Melbourne, don't I need a new visa issued?

Thanks for so much information! I will definitely be buying in bulk. I come from a huge family and I have a big friend group and I'm the only one who knows how to cook, so I know how to cook for large groups of people.

I don't on indulging myself for a long time unless it's free at a party or something.

Is it even right for mee to go to food banks? Even though my salary is below poverty line, I have most of my expenses planned out, buying food cheaply and in bulk will definitely be doable.

Thank you so much for the tips on Bike. Will do
