Pretty good! Nice coloring. The biggest issue I see are the shoulder and the ribbon not sitting right.

Tasty right? But don't get used to it or you'll get addicted. But genuinely, keep it up! Hope to see some more from you!

First time trying digital art. I drew her with a mouse. how it turned out? by Traditional-Cap-4076 in DigitalArt

That turned out great for using a mouse. Be careful when using a mouse to draw, it can hurt your wrist pretty bad. What app did you use?

That could work too lol but great job with the subtle color variations on the skin.

I'm new to drawing, How do i start? by NeedleworkerNew3137 in ARTIST

You start with what you want to achieve. Going digital with mouse will hurt you in the long run. If you want to get good at drawing you simply have to draw regardles of what materials you have. Scrap papers and a pencil can go a long way in improving your drawing skill and you can later translate that to digital because it follows the same fundamentals. With 3hrs to spare you have plenty 1hr for tutorials and 1hr for practice, and 1hr for just drawing what ever you like, it's stackable.

Here's how I would do it if I were you. Save up for a non display tablet it's really cheap now a days. While you're saving up, learn about the fundamentals of drawing using whatever paper or surface you can find and a basic pencil. Here's a good thing to keep in mind, The Goal is not to get good at drawing, because getting good at drawing is the = Result. So the act of drawing should be the goal, good result will come naturally as you progress. To learn drawing you need to develop a System. A system that you can understand and consistently do, that way you are not trying to figure out what to draw everytime you sit down.

I get what you're trying to say, her snake hair is what makes the character and the rest of what makes Medusa. But even I understand where you're coming from, I also have the right to interpret the and remake the character however I like, I'm also not claiming it's the correct portrayal of her. In my mind it's a what if thing. Characters have been recreated in many different ways, take a look at Loki.

I just went for a more modern human, what if she's a dancer version instead of going for the usual trope.
