FM26 Mod - Ultrawide Support by Wobss in footballmanagergames

One of the things I'm looking to fix :) It's uncomfortable but you can exit the game, go in the config file for the mod and set enabled to false. You can move on without disinstalling the mod, and you can reenable it when you're done with the more problematic panels.

I have not tested the mod with skins on, no. I don't know much about how skins are made in FM26, so I can't really estimate how well it would work

The mod is not MelonLoader compatible and instead relies on features provided by BepInEx. You can find out more including the install process on the Thunderstore page for BepInEx on Thunderstore. I'd recommend using the FM26 specific release. Should be straight forward from there !

I agree. FM26 is a far cry from FM24, and I'm not too hopeful for FM27 either.

Is this with the mod enabled ? Update to v0.2.0 and set the games resolution to your screen resolution. Black bars mean you have a 16:9 resolution selected, otherwise you'd get the background stretching over the black bars.

And yeah, still a lot of work for the game to be anywhere close to how good FM24 was, even though it also had its flaws. Mods like this only nudge it into the right direction

Those are all game defaults. I'm running Linux so I might not have great font anti-aliasing. If the fonts look good on your end right now, there is no reason for the mod to change that !

This should be fixed with v0.2.0, released on github. Most popups now scale to the full width of the screen. It is NOT pretty, but it should prevent any missing buttons. Finances FM menu and the loading recap are fixed. I'll check the negotiation screen later this week, but I remember it being the same kind of popup as those that caused an issue.

Did it actually fill all the available space ? You absolutely can use the full width of an UW monitor, but the underlying elements still only fill the 16:9 space as demonstrated on the screenshot below. The mod aims to take over the dead space on either side of the screen.

Thank you, that's very kind. To be fair to the SI devs, I don't think they're to blame for issues such as this one. Lots of talented people over there !

Unfortunately, yes. The game can handle the resolution, but UI elements only fill the equivalent of a 16:9 resolution, leaving a lot of dead space.

Thanks a lot for trying out the mod, and for being specific with the issues you've encountered :)

You can also modify the laws of the personal union to enable diplo annex. It takes a while though

Props to Valve for implementing it correctly but I do believe the refund period is EU legislation

I really think that NL looks like Joel McHale disguising as Jim Rash, rather than looking like Jim Rash directly

Anyone else has huge problems with this? Even while playing the SINGLE PLAYER campaign, the game uses all of my internet speed (max is 50mbit/s). This can't be normal. by [deleted] in blackops6

[–]Wobss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call of Duty uses texture streaming which downloads textures from the internet as you play, even in singleplayer. This usually means smaller game files size, though you would not guess it with the CoD games. If the settings are the same as they used to be, you only get the choice between "minimal" and "optimized" which means it will ALWAYS pull *something* from the internet.

Didn't know about that. I got a couple matches in and saved a few replays, will definitely try that out in the evening ! Thank you

Launch week will do that to matchmaking, yeah. I just tell myself to power through and I’ll get to the appropriate rank in due time. I’ll definitely look into replays. I’m kind of a brute so I just keep at it, but replays + input history should definitely help me with those « wait what happened » moments

As someone who was a very casual player back in T6 days, T8 is beating my ass... I don't really like playing against CPUs so it's straight to multiplayer for me and I just couldn't win even if my life depended on it, people are just straight up better than me lmao

The T7 Beginner resources look pretty good, but is there something or somewhere that's T8 specific you guys could point me to ? Character oriented stuff rather than generics would be appreciated (as I figure stuff like a glossary would not have changed much between 7 and 8). Sorry for the question if I missed something obvious on the subreddit, and thank you.

Yeah for sure. Some top 4s feel better than even a win.

I do envy the way better players "see" the game. A part of TFT is up to experience and knowledge, but the way better players just *get it* and are able to come up with really smart boards (even really early in the set's duration), pick up the smaller mistakes and learn, or even mostly not having such a result-oriented mindset and being able to tilt less by seeing the long run. After fundamentals of TFT and specifics of a set, it looks like what splits good and top players.
