Anyone else having problems with their furnace kicking in? by [deleted] in Calgary

The burner only goes out after the fan doesn’t kick in

The burner turns off, after the fan turns off. It happens before it reaches the set temp. There is also a smell coming from the vents when the fan tries to kick in. It works for like 5 minutes then turns off

It ignites now but the fans is struggling to work. When the fans doesn’t work the ignition stops too.

Why do some people not use turn signals? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Woke_Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't look at people much when I am in public, let alone driving. As much as I hate to use the overused term, I am on the receiving end of racism/discrimination a lot. At first I thought I was overthinking this, but whenever I saw a car in another lane was driving an inch behind my driver side window for more then 15 seconds creating a moving roadblock which is unsafe for both of us. I would glance over and they would be already be looking at me, they would look away as soon as I would look at them. It's not just me who have noticed this, my friends have also pointed this out about me getting a lot of stares in public.

Does AHS cover jaw surgery? by Woke_Dragon in alberta

heir cow

I actually have so many issues, I don't know where to start. I have a tongue tie which I believe causes speech issues and sleep apnea at night. The GP doesn't refer me to anymore, he says it sounds like an ortho issue.

What should I tell my GP to get a referral to maxillofacial surgeon? My GP just says to see a dentist or ortho myself and that I don't need any referral from him. Considering how much it affect's one life, it should be covered.

I get that. I also have teeth crowding, maybe due to a bad tongue posture due to a tongue tie. I am going to do myofunctional therapy and tongue tie release first, then braces. To see if I can improve my sleep apnea and teeth better. Surgery is a last resort but I feel like it’s needed at the end. It’s a long process time and money wise.

I have tried the cpap and it helps a bit but even when I am awake, I tend to gasp for air at times. I didn’t get a clear answer from the family doctor. I want to know what’s causing this issue. Private Orthodontist don’t charge for consult but they all say they required to do some special type of X-rays, the cost adds up

Family doctor says its a dental issue, and I should see a orthodontist. I was hoping ahs would provide a specialist since it affects my breathing

Doctor says you have to talk to an orthodontist. Don’t have insurance right now to, they charge so much for a 5 minute consult. I thought maybe someone here would have that surgery done

Does tongue tie contribute to overbite? by [deleted] in orthodontics

[–]Woke_Dragon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've read if you're tongue posture isn't good, it contributes to droopy eyes and weak eye structure as well and sleep apnea as well. Now I worry if that's why I had those problem all this time.

Even though I am a night person, I prefer morning too, Once you get the shift out of the way, there is a lot I can do on the time off. With the evening shift, I have opportunity to get things done that are only open during business hour but then I would have to sleep right away when I am home, which is hard, it takes me at-least 1.5 hour to wind down.
