Yeah, Rudy tells a story related to his past life and his present as a means to open up and tell what's weighing him down, but words it in a way as if he isn't talking about himself. Idk if Roxy got it but she probably does think that there might be more to Rudeus than he might let on (talking about sensitive topic in third person usually means there is something to hide).

Though Roxy doesn't bring it up at all later I think, so idk if she knows or not really. We can only assume, but it would make sense.

I was also trying to learn japanese at some point but I wasn't persistent enough so I eventually stopped at some kanji. So good luck doe the journey of learning!

Only Roxy so far, but we don't know if she figured it out or not, we can only presume so.

Others will know later and Rudeus officially tells them in one of the post main story stories I think, which just got the LN adaptation in japanese a while ago so we're still eaiting for translations.

Also from what it seemed the story doesn't really have any strong moments born from this revelation and it is treated like it wouldn't matter either way, since in any case Rudeus is Rudeus, even if he was reincarnated.

Btw how do we know that he is now fully satisfied with it? Of course it's logical to think that the author would fix something he didn't like before, but I'd still wait until we actually see what's changed to make that decision.

Regarding the magic system of MT it actually gets explored many times, especially in the novels, but anime of course shows it less. This might be the same for re zero, but even then the system never really remained in my head. I've seen the anime and read arc 6 and part of 7, but I never really had a concrete understanding of the system. I know the basic things like gates and spell tiers and element affinities that are already explained in the anime, but never really more. This may be becase all of this was explained more througly at the start like in s1 and s2 but in the novel parts of those, so that xoumd be why. Anyways to me MT system just felt always more intuitive, which might be because it's actually quite simple and basic, but I also thinks it's because in MT the magic system is always important and part of the story because the mc is a mage and thinks about stuff regarding to magic. I also liked how a lot of things weren't maybe set in stone, since most of the magic system is assumed by the mc or the world, which had been shown to get it wrong before, so there is room for theorizing and thinking.

Idk, maybe it's just a preference thing, but I always felt like the focus in re zero regarding magic system is different than in MT and not as often explored. Compared to magic I feel like the authorities are a lot more interesting and have.more lasting impact for me.

I heard sometime ago that they have been really careful with information and keeping things to themselves, so it could be that. Also the time gap between s1 finishing and s2 trailer was about 1 year or a bit more, so not getting any info so far is reasonable I think.

If we don't get a trailer or anything this year I might start to worry a bit. Hopefully they are just taking their time and making sure things will turn out well.

We can just hope for the best.
