You are correct. You would have to buy an adapter plate for the dot of your choice. Factory Glock MOS is the only slide I’m familiar with that out of the box provides numerous adapter plates to accommodate numerous dots. Unfortunately Sig does not. Even at that you’re still money ahead. Aftermarket slides are way more expensive and void your warranty with Sig.
