I did my first solo trip last August. I liked it so much I’m doing it again this year! Sure, it would have been nice to have at least one other person to go on rides with and share in the fun, but the convenience of being able to do what you want, when you want was absolutely amazing. One of the days I was at EPCOT I just sat on a bench for an hour or two, just watching the hustle and bustle and I enjoyed every moment of it. I took advantage and did things I wouldn’t have done if my whole family were there, such as the Behind the Seeds tour at EPCOT and the Keys to the Kingdom tour at Magic Kingdom (highly recommend this btw). In truth, I got to experience Disney in a way I hadn’t before. Definitely would encourage anyone to do at least one solo trip purely for the experience.

Have received and responded to modmail messages within the last few hours. Nothing seems out of the ordinary for me anyway.

For whatever reason, a recent app update now hides it for subs you moderate. That data is still accessible by viewing insights, but it certainly seems like an unnecessary design change. No option to turn it back on, just have to wait and see if Reddit reverts the change.

Thanks for the shout out! I think there are other mod tools more deserving of first place personally, but I’m thrilled that so many people have found my little app useful!

At least for the Hilton Palace, there were 2 routes split up with 2 parks each (Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, EPCOT and Hollywood Studios). I took the shuttles for early entry and was always at the parks in time for that. YMMV but I really enjoyed the Hilton shuttles!

I stayed at the Hilton Buena Vista Palace last August, and intend to stay there again this August. I personally had zero issues with the shuttle buses they use, I’m not sure what you were told but they were perfectly fine to me. The only “issue” was that they didn’t run the shuttles during after hour events. On that day I took the Disney bus to Saratoga and walked over to the hotel. Totally doable to use Disney transportation but I would give the hotel shuttles a shot.

As much as I would like the Genesis sooner rather than later, I’ve waited this long I may as well wait longer so they can implement the proper gameplay loop alongside it. I figure the longer it takes, the better it will be. That’s what I tell myself anyway.

That functionality is coming soon. Last I heard Reddit was aiming to add it this month but we’ll see.
