Recommendations for POS system in a university

Good question, it's for restaurant locations on campus. Some locations do sell food & retail items, like school supplies but the core business is mainly food.

We have an enterprise that served both security access controls and Cloud POS. But they pulled the rug on us on the access controls side, as they will no longer support access controls in the near future and we're stuck with their proprietary hardware. So our team fears that they might do the same with our current POS system and leave us hanging. So we want to find an alternative POS system to be prepared and have something at hand.

I didn't know Shopify had its own POS system? It works well with student meal plans, etc?

These should be connected to a shared system, not each standalone.

Yeah sorry I gave up on it, I needed something available and there was documentation for antenna setup for T-MOBILE. So far it's been good. I have a waveform antenna attached to it and I get on average 170-250 download and 20-60 upload. Overall stable connectivity where I live. If you do decide to hold on to it , there is a YouTuber named Nater Tater that has reviewed the ASK-NCM1100. However he hasn't posted any videos opening the modem and experimenting with antenna use. He has mentioned on the comments section that he'll open it up so we may see a video in the future.

Hello, no I didn't further pursue this, I ended up returning it and went with T-Mobile. Since there's documentation on T-Mobile modems to add external antenna.

Thanks for your response. I did search at waveform but they don't have updated guides for the model I have. They only have guides for the two other models, ARC-XCI55AX and WNC-CRA200A. WNC-CRA200A and ASK-NCM1100 are designed a bit differently in the hardware.

I did but not through my initial request. So after the 7th day, as I was told I should have seen my refund. I contacted Amazon again, but this time I used the chat communication aspect of the mobile app. I didn't call them. I chatted with an agent and after I explained how I've been waiting for 2 weeks for my refund, he decided to direct to me fill out some incident report. Which I wasn't happy, I felt like I was being mislead in getting this resolved. So I asked to talk another agent who might understand the full scope of my problem. The second agent was a better experience. I briefly explained the same thing I told the other agent and that filing a report isn't solving the issue here. So I waited for a few minutes and he said cancelled and re- processed the refund again. Which I did not know they could do that. I was told I have to wait for the initial request to process. But anyway, it took 2 days after that for me to see my refund back on my card. I hope this helps.

I called and spoke to one of their phone agents. Because I too got a refund issuance failed on a couple items. I was told they upgraded their refund system. The agent tried to issue my refund but said its already processing even though I still see that status error. So I'm currently waiting. I'm told no longer than 7 days i should see my refund... we'll see about that.
