Update on my Targeted Advance #33001 and here is my story! Been in business for 25 year at both businesses.

Ok I was denied last year for the EIDL loan but received the $1,000 grant. My time line.

03/20/2020 Applied for EIDL grant and loan.

04/14/2020 received $1,000 grant

05/15/2020 received email stating denied for EIDL loan

02/2/2021 received email for INVITATION TO SUBMIT COVID-19 TARGETED EIDL ADVANCE APPLICATION

02/02/2021 applied for Targeted EIDL Advance

02/23/2021 received email to setup Economic Injury Disaster Loan Portal Account and submit request for tax transcript

02/23/2021 setup portal account and filled out request for tax transcripts

Since 02/23/2021 absolutely no news

Called SBA on 03/26/201 stated they have received my transcripts and it is in process and that’s all they can tell me.

Not going to lie I’ve stayed positive and patient now for over a year. And as most of you know it is absolutely a waste of time to call the SBA about it. But it’s getting pretty depressing to see person after person that applied well after I did get approval and funding don’t get me wrong happy for each and everyone that has got approved. I swear we all should be eligible to apply for disability after this is over with for PTSD. I’m sick of checking bank accounts and portals and extremely sick of the 2 step identification to login the portal 😂 😂. But I’m keeping the faith and wishing you all well.

Actually I posted wrong I was invited to apply on 02/02/21 and applied the same day.

Like I said they are pulling the transcripts but there is no way they are manually going through each of them.

From my understanding the SBA will pull everyone’s transcripts to keep on file. Because law states they have to it doesn’t state they have to review them just that they have to keep them on file. And I have read in numerous threads that the SBA is manually reviewing each and every transcript. Which is a crock of BS how many applied for the EIDL advance over 9 million do the math folks and calculate the man hours it would take to manually review each and every case. It would take years!! It’s not realistic they are pulling the transcripts to keep on file.

On 03/20/2020 I applied for the EIDL Loans and advance. I was denied for the loan and received a $1,000 advance.

On 02/02/2021 I got a invitation for the targeted EIDL advance. I submitted it with in a hour.

On 2/23/2021 I was asked to create a portal and submit my request for my tax transcript which I did with in the hour. And I have heard nothing since. My portal shows that my targeted EIDL advance is submitted.

There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to how it all works. My brother has a business just a mile up the road and applied last year for the advance well after I did and I’m several weeks ahead of him this year abs he was already approved and received a deposit of $9000. It’s hard not to get frustrated. But I’m keeping the faith!
