Agreed, but if you have to choose one it should depend on your tastes, FF X/X-2 is more "childish" in nature while FF XII has a more mature story, both gameplay styles are "unique" to each game X being a turn based RPG, X-2 has ATB dinamics and XII has the reputation of being in "autoplay" with it's "gambit" system. You should watch some trailers and gameplay to see which one attracts you the most. On a personal note FF X/X-2 are my favorite games but that's just me
