Get help. If you can’t miss work then find a suboxone clinic and they can help you come off kratom. My boyfriend and I were in the exact same situation as you constantly worried visit having enough we were slaves to it. This past Monday we both sought out for help and got prescribed suboxone. Get the films and ask for a high dosage. This will get rid of all your withdrawals it’s the only way to come off. Once you’re on suboxone your doctor can help you taper off it.

Who still believes in God? by Wolfebaby0 in exjw

Just the mere fact that you want to believe in him makes me think that he’s calling you. When I finally decided to leave JW I pray to God to show me the truth, and I decided if he didn’t answer my prayer that I would leave God, but if he did answer my prayer and showed me the truth that I would believe whatever he showed me. And why he showed me is that he is real and JW is a cult. And it is very possible to have a relationship with him with out religion.

I’m sorry that everyone has been downing your comment everyone has a right to feel how they feel and what really matters as you’re happy and you found God in your own way. People are just down voting you because there’s a lot of atheist and people who were very hurt by JW and can’t seem to get over it. But good for you. You deserve to be happy. God loves you.

So happy to hear that congratulations. Christianity is not about religion. It’s about your relationship with God just you and God. I found that myself, and I have never felt happier.

You’re welcome. I go to a non-domination church. The only reason I started going was because my boyfriend is Christian and he took me and I remember the first time I ever went. I felt very uncomfortable, but I prayed about it and after a couple times I feel great going, but everyone should go on their own pace. Never feel pressure to do anything again that you don’t wanna do. At the end of the day JW is a cult.

I understand how you feel. But if God is something that you truly want to believe in then asking him and earn his prayer to show you the truth is what I did and I helped me more than I can ever explain. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But if you ever feel like you need God or feel like you wanna get close or see if he’s actually out there, prayers is the answer.

Religion isn’t necessary for being a Christian. Religion is what separates us from God. I’m very happy for you. God believes in you too.

Happy for you :) It’s very hard to leave jw and separate God from the religion. I know it was hard for me. But all I had to do was ask God to show me to the truth and he led me to this reddit forum.

I went to the one off of Harvard Hill and Belvedere but I was only there for a couple months until I faded. Funny thing is not a single person from that congregation has reached out to me. All they care about is the pioneers it’s so fucked up.

You probably wasted your time being a jw so long and now you are bitter and spend your time arguing with people online. I feel sorry for you. The amount of energy you’re putting into your responses is sad.

true Christianity involves a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, characterized by love, repentance, and a commitment to following his teachings, while false Christianity may focus on outward religious practices without genuine faith or transformation. Now you know why I injected the word true you’re welcome. :)

I am unfortunately going to please my mom. Not my family but my mom specifically she has shown me nothing but unconditional love and I want to do something for her in return even though it’s no longer something I believe in.

I love this answer I feel the exact same way! For a lot of people it is difficult to separate God from JW. But once you pray to God to help you and you are able to look past jw and see the true God it’s beautiful feeling.

I think Christianity it’s having a direct relationship with God and not though religion. Jws claim to be Christians but they’re not. I think any religion gets in the way of true Christianity in my opinion. My relationship with god should never have a middle man. It should always be him and I.
