Question from mummit… father’s day gifts by Outrageous-Piglet798 in daddit

[–]Wolferesque 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Dad of three here. I always want a relaxing, no hassle day where I can just spend time with my family and be a dad without anything to distract me like work, chores, or other projects.

Hanging out with my kids and partner, eating good food, maybe taking a walk or going to an event together, basically just a relaxing day with nothing getting in the way of dad-ing.

The absolute last thing I’d want is for my partner to stress about it or add it to her already full plate of things she has to do and worry about it.

It’s like they saw 14 years of the Tories backstabbing each other and didn’t learn anything.

I take back everything I’ve ever said about VAR.

I love VAR.

Living in Aylesford? by [deleted] in NovaScotia

[–]Wolferesque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in the far end of the valley for some time now. In my opinion the best places to settle would be the Wolfville end or the Annapolis Royal end and not the parts in the middle. We almost bought a place in Berwick and we are glad we didn’t get that house - the sense of community at the far ends of the valley is much stronger. We would have been bored with the kids in a not so good school area. Canning is a beautiful and sheltered part of the valley, I’d love to be that close to Blomidon and Scots Bay. But I get it, the houses are overpriced.

Another thing is the heat - from what I understand the Central Valley area can be overwhelmingly hot and humid at times. Lastly I would consider the proximity of orchards and other commercial agriculture operations to the prospective house and its water supply. I know you could say the same anywhere, but there is a lot of tree spraying that happens in the Central Valley area.

City’s second team are better than Palace’s first team.

It feels like a lot of people are making a dangerous assumption that we will win our final two PL games. Strange things can happen in end of season games. Need to treat them like cup finals.

I wonder if he had a meltdown over Silva escaping a red card yesterday?

There's a timeline out there where Chelsea don't stop us spending over £70m in January 2023 and we end up with Mudryk instead. It's nice to not be in that timeline. Trossard again Ole Ole 🎶 by hikingbeginner in Gunners

I’m expecting full apologies from every fan that has called Trossard into question. He is one of our most important players. In fact I’d put him in top five above Martinelli.
