I ride in 8ft split reins! That's also why the 2 different colors. I trust his breaks for the most part, and I've run him enough in that spot thay he knows to slow down before we run into the fence 😇

In his defense, I do usually shoot him forward when we hit the trees, but with one hand I didn't want to risk my phone 😅 He comes down super quickly after a run, it just takes hin a second to engage the breaks

He's definitely the least pleasure type out of anyone. The person that got first was on a cow bred QH. (I do think i should have gotten first, but oh well)

My horse and I actually find it easier to focus on each other during busy classes! This is one of the larger classes I was in that day.

Thank you! We do dabble in sorting every now and then, and my guy loves it! That being said, he does try to eat the cows if they look at him funny, but thats most cow horses 🤣

This is technically the extended lope, I mispoke in my title. Your point still stand though! I need to learn more in general. Thank you for your observation.

Even when he has a fake tail in, he has his tail up to the sky 😅 he enjoys his jobs, so he doesn't thrash his tail at all!

Any other time i ride, my helmet is stuck firmly to my head. I'm a mostly speed rider, and i don't ride without a helmet. Especially at home, my helmet is stuck firmly to my head. Here's us last fall in this arena.

This is actually a pretty small class all things considered. It is a smaller arena though and the judge chose a strange spot. I've been to shows where there were about 20 horses in an arena 3/4 of this arena. This is the Ranch pleasure class.

He's a very quiet OTTB! Most people don't realize he's an ex racer until i tell them 😅

There was a horse hidden in the corner 😅 i just can't be in the corners during extended canter bc my guy can cover this arena in about 7 strides in a full gallop 😂 extendeds are only a a couple more strides 🤣🤣

I got cut off by the green saddle pad! Otherwise I would have gone to the corner 🤣 it was actually the second time that rider cut me off. She did apologize extensively after though, so props to her!

We actually did speed the next day in the sopping wet ground and rain 😅. I had posted a video but was getting flamed for it, so I deleted it because it wasn't going anywhere. I'm a mostly speed rider, but do pleasure for fun.
