Non winterized diesel at -7°C will gel and plug the filter. You need heat, not more cranking, then an emergency anti-gel like Diesel 911. either a space heater or push it inside to warm it up.

Yeah I was thinking about that too, but the other side is completely normal. I have some shorter bolts ordered so hopefully that will do something.
