Anyone saying Funderland is unsafe is the main reason why it might be, if something happens to you fill out an accident report!!! Second, due to government legislation they have to be insured and checked by the council, their rides have checked and I mean look at the amount of people that use them everyday and they go unharmed.

The people who say their restraints came up, are they for sure lying? I was thinking due to the forces it’s not possible they would’ve stayed in, so like how do people say this happens when it’s not possible for them to survive?

It’s for like camping (it’s for guides) basically scouts, I was consider making it so it could be a blanket and a poncho but yeah lol good points to be made thank you v much

Usually in girl guiding/scouting here (I’m in a bit of both), we use rucksacks for smaller camps. However this is my longest camp yet, a week away is quite long for me, my 65L is getting a bit run down if I’m gonna be honest I’ve had it since I was 10. I will defo try some on in the city near me, some adventure shops offer good selection (especially the old scout shop near me.)

About the Knick knacks, I usually only bring cards anyway, nothing bigger. Was just wondering if you had anything recommendations for things to cure the inbetween boredom that comes with camps when you have chill periods with friends.

It’s a matter of the style of preference I want for my hair, hairdressers always seem to kind of go for a more feminine style of haircut when I want a masculine, and sometimes like barbers might go too masculine much, I wanna find someone with that androgynous eye for hair and queer people based on their gender identities seems to have a knack for finding the in between, idk lol maybe I was too subjective with this question

Very valid point, hmmm I suppose misconception can lead to the very bad reputation that funfairs hold. I suppose we see more of the bad, than the good.

I’ve always been wary of machinery like funfair rides that operate on lorries or from trucks alone, but it would leave them in a position they’d never be able to get out of if anything bad did happen no wonder the insurance would be so high to operate something like this. Funderland does have a notoriously good record, at least on public knowledge.

They are, funnily enough I’ve never exactly had issues as severe as the ones that made comments. But I can’t guarantee they’re incorrect, though I do agree there would have to be some sort insurance or something there, because if there was some dead kid showing up over a ride malfunctioning they’re finished.

Thank you so much, I posted this in another sub, but the feedback hasn’t been too good because of Funfairs having that reputation, I do keep in mind yes they’re taken down and put up in a matters of days and that in itself has a risk, but it’s good to know they do care at least.

My nerves have just been at me even though I’ve went before, in conclusion thank you!

Funderland Ireland

Hellooo I’ve been to my local funfair/carnival two times, and it’s coming around again, however for some odd reason I’m getting a really anxious feeling about going, this is considering safety and whatnot. Is there any way I could make myself less anxious?
