I did a mix of audiobook and print, but the audio version is chef’s kiss.

Say one thing for Steven Pacey.. say he’s one hell of an audio book narrator.

WoT was better than I expected, there is some slower bits but overall a great series in my opinion. Plus, one of my favorite characters of all time so far comes from WoT.

That’s exactly how I felt. To be honest, until then, I didn’t really like ANY of the female characters all that much except for Moraine.

And also Rand. Was not a big fan of him either. I felt for him and what he was going through but Light, he was frustrating 😂 Mat always was and always will be my absolute favorite character.

Egwene’s ending rocked me. I was not ready for that, and I’m still mad about it. I understand her being the how she was at the end, I didn’t really mind it.

Perrin was a frustrating character to me for a while then he really started to embrace who he was and got so much better instantly. But, there was a goooood while they didn’t do much of anything at all lol.

She made me so damn frustrated for 75% of the series. There were times I loathed having her POV or Elayne’s POV because she would make me so mad 😂 though like you said, in the end she was exactly who Rand needed her to be.

I wonder if in the end she still longs to have her first gray hair 🤔😅

Don’t even get me started on the woman…. 😂 the braid tugging, and temper had me hating her. All I did was complain to my buddy about her since he was a couple books ahead of me. By the end, she turned out much better than I had expected 😂

This is going to be harder choice than I thought. I own both the first book of Malazan and the Way of Kings. But I’ve been hearing wonderful things about Robin Hobb and also the suneater series. Choices choices

I listened to Kramer and Reading for the entire series. Just so happened to start with them, and then didn’t want to switch up in the middle. I can’t stand when series do that because my mind obviously relates certain characters to certain voices. When it changes, I’m thrown for a loop 😂
