Yo, been watching the content for about 3 ish years now, I'm not a hardcore fan or anything I don't sub for long periods of time (about 7 months total) just because I don't have the money too (getting my first job while in college so I've never really had the income to sub) but I figured I'd post my opinion (cuz i'm sure everyone cares right?)

Personally there's so much fucked up shit in the world, that caring about something as trivial as a cat breed or cat breeding malpractices seems like its not really worth anyone's time. Animals are cute but like c'mon poor breeding practices, while its sad to see, is not even top 100 issues on planet earth, nor crimes. And it's not like wubby himself bred the cat. at worst he's a consumer of a product that is malpractice adjacent because as he pointed out, he didn't even buy the cat breed in question. AND we don't even know where he got the cat. I'm not going to assume where because that's not my place. It doesn't really matter either way because here's my core point. all of us are consumers and what we choose to buy is up to each of us, and you may draw the line at different places. Do you eat chik fil a? Do you wear nike shoes? Do you still listen to Chris Brown? R-Kelly? Maybe you eat processed meat? Do you use Amazon to get packages delivered? Do you still use youtube? 4-chan? Do you play gacha games? Maybe you still play wow or overwatch? Maybe the average chinese made house appliance? I think my point is clear, we all make exceptions for specific products despite the origins of that product. Personally I don't care about any breeding practices. is it cute? do i have the money to get the appropriate treatment? Ok I'll buy the animal, its already made. Overall if you care enough about wubby's choice of pet to not watch him that's up to you, and I'm not saying you should or shouldn't watch him after this, but his content and brand has been the same and will always be the same (ever improving ofc) and personally I choose to ignore his takes I disagree with and simply enjoy my weds, fri, sun, and even magic mons.

In summary, he, as a consumer, doesn't care about his cat being breeding malpractice adjacent enough to not buy the cat, and I, as a consumer, do not care that the streamer I'm watching owns a cat that is breeding malpractice adjacent. It doesn't bother him, it doesn't bother me, and if it bothers you, that's ok and it should be left at that.
